Part of Silent Movie Weekend 2026! Part of Silent Movie Weekend 2026! Step into the strange, shadowy world of Robert Wiene's The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), on the big screen with live piano accompaniment by visiting pianist Bruce Vogt.

With its jagged sets and nightmarish atmosphere, Caligari helped define German Expressionism and shaped horror films for decades after. A century on, it's still unsettling, and a live improvised score only makes it more so.
